A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE GIRL BEHIND THE PAINT

Hi, I’m Lillian

the artist, teacher, and creative behind Hatfield Art House.

Art has always been a huge part of who I am. What started as a love for creating has grown into a life where I get to make art in so many different ways from hand-painted banners and murals to custom artwork and all the little creative projects that happen in between.

Hatfield Art House is where all of those pieces come together. It’s my little corner of the world where I get to turn ideas into something tangible, whether that means painting a banner for someone’s event, creating artwork for someone's home, transforming a blank wall, or making something completely custom.

The best part of what I do is knowing that the things I create become part of someone else’s story. I get to make the artwork but then it gets to go out into the world and become part of a memory, a celebration, or a space that means something.

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

A GIFT I’M GRATEFUL TO USE

I’ve always known that my creativity is a gift but it’s one I never want to take for granted.

I believe God is the one who gave me this ability to create, and I’m incredibly grateful that He has given me the opportunity to use it. Every idea, every brushstroke, and every finished piece is a reminder that creativity is something I was entrusted with and not something I created on my own.

That’s why I want the art I make to do more than simply look beautiful. I want it to make people happy.

I love taking an idea that exists only in someone’s head and turning it into something they can actually see and enjoy. I love the little details, the imperfect aspects, and the process.

Most of all, I’m grateful that God has allowed me to build a life around a talent He gave me and that I get to use that talent to create beautiful things that bring a little more joy into someone else’s life.
